stockxpertcom_id8499732_jpg_2150ab705afad321d95126693cdd0e8dPhew.. It’s been a hectic few days, but I’m back.  For those of you guys still here, and sticking with me – thanks. For those of you who didn’t know what has been going on the past few days, I had ran out of bandwidth for this month, as the site got too popular for it’s own good.  I realised this early Tuesday morning, and started to put the wheel in motion to upgrade my package, which was easier said than done.  What’s worse is that I got a tasty backlink from the Guardian, which I would have liked to benefitted from sooner. I didn’t receive any warning other than last month being 80% of bandwidth – so in hindsight I should have seen it coming.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t redeem anything from my older package, which basically retires it to the dustbin. Lesson learned – if you notice that cheap isn’t working out, dump it ASAP. To add to the pain the holding page for the “out of bandwith” message, returned a error 200 to Google, so here’s hoping the index isn’t affected. I’m just glad I managed to get moved over relatively quickly, otherwise it would have been a bit of a disaster.

I’m now on Blacknight’s Maximus package, (not an affiliate link btw) which is quite cool.  I’ve got some Adwords Voucher’s to come through as a result, so if anyone fancies winning them, I’ll be putting together a bit of a competition sometime next week hopefully, as they aren’t really of much interest to me.

Anyway’s this post is just letting you all know that I’m back up and running again, and thanks for hanging in there until I got things fixed up. If anyone is having problems with RSS etc, give me a shout I’ve checked my own and it seems ok, but I know these things can go funny when moving servers.

Paul.

Glad to have you back mate, hate it when crap like this happens. BTW next time use an affiliate link when recommending a hosting company, I would use it then!

It’s always good to upgrade your package.
