Hi there,
I just mean, save the resulting URL IN a text file, for safe keeping. It will look something like this:
for this URL: http://www.delicious.com/url/cfb2f84f5cb151905ef91a88c9f81016
it looks like this:
http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/url/cfb2f84f5cb151905ef91a88c9f81016?count=15
Viewing the source code of the page will give you the RSS "alternate" link.
Paul.

Hey Paul -- when you're pulling the RSS feed from delicious.com you say to save it as a text file. How exactly do you go about doing this?

Seriously, Paul, you just keep coming up with the goods. I've been messing around with NetVibes for a while now, without any serious direction.
This blog gives me a delectable list of things to choose from. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks Brendan,
I hadn't seen social mention before, but from initial looks at it, it seems like I've a few places they've missed. Plus, its bloody slow to get results. The beauty of each individual feed being a request in its own right allows you to glance at the data quicker. Thanks for the heads up though!

This is very, very cool. I'm updating my HUGE social media search pipe with some of these. Question however: do tools like socialmention do a lot of this anyway?
