One of the first sites that I’ve seen advertising on Twitter is ExecTweets. The site launched today from Federated Media, and sponsored by Microsoft, is built on top of the WordPress platform. The basic gist is that execTweets collects posts from corporate executives, and allows a digg style voting system to rate them up and down. Having a nosy through the source code however shows that they aren’t just so hot on their SEO.

Not much point having the All in one SEO plugin in place if you are going to do this “noindex, nofollow”. Hopefully someone on the team will notice and sort it out.

See that robots tag..Major SEO fail.

Update. Looks like they sorted it out. Well done lads. Bored? Take a look through the rest of my SEO posts.

I love fails like this! Microsoft has always been a little dumb on the basics. There is a great seo fail blog. I check up on it every so often: http://www.seofailblog.com
