Papervision 3d is a a popular open source 3D engine for Flash. With the broadband pipe getting wider all the time, and download speeds not playing such a critical factor in the design of web apps, some developers have really pushed flash to the limit.

The inclusion of 3d models in the flash environment, (3d studio max, Lightwave and Maya being the main weapons of choice) and being able to tie them together with PV3d, has led to many mind blowing experiences in the browser. Many high profile brands are reaping the benefits of its flexible and extensive architecture.  The work showcased herein needs no introduction, and really pushes the flash player to the limit.
