Taking a ‘less is more approach’ – Dropmocks is a beautiful little web application that enables users to easily create image slideshows for sharing with friends. Utilising HTML 5′s new drag and drop functionality, it works with modern browsers to let you bring files right from your desktop machine directly to the web – without the hassle of traditional web uploads.

Short URL functionality is also provided to let you share your portfolio across social networks, and signup (if you want it) is implemented through your Google account  - making it a snap to save multiple Dropmocks. I was able to create this slideshow of Discovery’s last mission in literally 30 seconds, and it offers a superior experience for sharing multiple files than some of the other apps out there such as TwitPic. Overall a great little web application that deserves more attention.
